We are pleased to announce that for four weeks starting the end of February we will have two teachers from Queen's University in the youth centre from opening to closing everyday for all youth who need extra help in homework. Keep posted to this site for exact dates. Notice to all volunteers. If you need to be offically recgonized for the time you have volunteered via proof of a letter or phone call, then you must schedule your time prior to attending. You can not arrive unannounced and hope to get recgonition for that time. Contact Derrick at the Firehouse Youth Centre via e-mail at derrick.mckay@jhsdurham.on.ca or phone at 905-623-6814 ext #29 or simply drop by and ask for Derrick Monday - Wednesday. You can print it off, fill it out and simply drop it by the Firehouse Youth Centre or drop it off at the Clarington Resource centre at 132 Church Street between normal office hours. A police record check will be required. Contact our Bowmanville office for the required forms.
